Sign in the washroom, Beijing Airport
Toilet paper is usually not provided in public toilets in China. However, here in a washroom (outside the cubicles) in Beijing Airport, the tide is turning. But I'm not sure what "Bumf" is!
(million) Census 2000 Shanghai 14.2 Beijing 10.3 Guangzhou [Canton] 7.5 Tianjin [Tientsin] 6.8 Wuhan 6.7 Shenzhen 6.4 Chongqing [Chungking] 5.1 Shenyang 4.6 Chengdu [Chengtu] 4.3 Foshan 4.0 Xi'an [Sian] {Xian} 3.9 Dongguan 3.9 Nanjing [Nanking] 3.8 Harbin 3.6 Hangzhou [Hangchou] 3.2 Shantou 3.1 Dalian [Dairen] 2.9 Jinan 2.8 As Jinan's population is now estimated at 5.9m it is fair to double all these figures for current population. Latest estimate for whole of China: 1,300 million
